For the bell pepper and tomato salad, wash and clean the peppers. Then cut into small, bite-sized pieces. Wash and halve the cherry tomatoes as well. Mix both.
Peel the onion, chop finely and add to the pepper-tomato mix. Prepare a dressing from the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, herb salt and pepper and pour it over the bell pepper and tomato salad.
Mix briefly and let stand for a while. Serve the salad either in small bowls or in a glass bowl. Garnish with some chives.
