For the cheese cookies, knead flour, butter, grated cheese, egg and salt into a dough.
Wrap in plastic wrap and let rest for about 1 hour. Then roll out to a thickness of 3 mm, cut out cookies and brush with egg.
Sprinkle with poppy seeds, sesame seeds and/or caraway seeds according to taste. Bake the cheese cookies at 180°C for about 10-15 minutes.
Preparation Tip:
You can sprinkle the cheese cookies instead of sesame seeds, for example, pumpkin seeds.
