Rinse the fruit, place in a baking dish. Grate lemon and orange, rinse well, cut into slices with the peel, place on top of the fruit.

Pour red wine over the fruit until it is at least half covered. Sprinkle sugar on top and steam in oven heated to 180 degrees for about one hour. With cream or yogurt it is a special dessert, but it is also served with meat.
