Instructions:

Cut chicken into strips (1 cm x 5 cm) and lay out in a shallow dish in a single layer. Peel and crush garlic clove, clean chili and onion (remove seeds) and chop finely. Mix all ingredients except garnish and pour over chicken. Marinate for 8-24 hours. Thread meat onto shish kebabs (perhaps folding them together). Note: soak wooden skewers in cold water for half an hour! Preheat the broiler (stove) and broil the skewers for about 8 minutes, repeatedly brushing with marinade and turning to the other side.

Serve with lettuce and lime slices.

Serve with a mint relish.

Tip: Use regular or light yogurt as needed!
