Homemade baby food – First complementary food
For the pear-millet porridge, wash, peel and quarter the pear. Remove the stalk, skin and core. Cook the pear in a pot with a little water over low heat until soft. Do not drain the cooking water.
Puree with a blender to a fine pulp. Add the millet flakes to the pear puree while it is still hot and allow to swell for a few minutes.
For the pear-millet porridge still stir in the butter.
Preparation Tip:
This baby pear millet porridge is suitable for babies from 6 months of age.
