A cake recipe for all foodies:
This sweet dessert, originally from Savoy, takes little effort and is very tasty.
– In a large baking bowl, stir together salt, eggs, flour, brandy, baking powder and sugar thoroughly.
– Mix in 100 ml of lukewarm water to keep a smooth dough that is not too tough.
– Add the apples.
– In a coated frying pan, heat the oil and pour in the mixture. Cover and cook on low heat for 30 minutes.
– Turn the matafan out onto a plate, slide it repeatedly into the frying pan and roast for another 15 minutes.
– Serve hot or lukewarm.
