A simple but delicious cake recipe:

Cream the butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar, then gradually add the eggs. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir into the batter.

Preheat the oven to 175 °C. Grease an ovenproof shallow oblong baking dish and pour the batter into it. Sprinkle almonds, raisins and sugar on top and bake the cake for about 45 to 50 minutes. If it gets too dark, cover with aluminum foil. Cool and cut into ten triangles or squares.
