Knead together starch, sugar, flour, egg, salt, vanilla pulp and butter flakes with the kneading hook of the hand mixer. Form dough into a roll. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Roll out dough in portions until thin. Cut out moons. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Mix egg yolk and milk.
Brush the moons with the mixture. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and decorate each with an almond. Bake in a heated oven at 200 degrees for 10 minutes until golden brown.
