A simple but delicious cake recipe:

Beat the egg yolks with the warm water and 60g of sugar in a mixer in a high bowl until creamy (perhaps with vanilla pulp). In another bowl, whip the egg whites with 40g of sugar and a pinch of salt until very stiff, then fold into the egg yolk mixture.

Combine flour, cornstarch and baking powder and sift over the top. Carefully fold everything together leisurely with a whisk. Finally, fold in the lukewarm melted butter. Depending on the intended use, either pour this batter into a well-greased cake springform pan, or spread it out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, or spread it evenly by the spoonful as cookies on the parchment paper, or pour it into the appropriate greased pan for three cake layers. Bake at moderate to medium heat in the oven heated to 175 °C. After 10 minutes, reduce the heat to 160 °C and bake for 20-60 minutes (depending on the thickness of the dough).
