Cut the sugar melon in half, remove the seeds and cut into wedges.
Separate the melon from the peel except for about 2 cm. This makes it easier to eat.
Arrange on cool plates with 1 spoonful of fig jam on each, place the ham decoratively on top and garnish with basil and serve.
Preparation Tip:
Alternatively, other air-dried raw ham can be used for this purpose, such as Parma, San Daniele or Serrano ham.
