Homemade baby food – First complementary food.
For the spinach and potato porridge, peel the potato and cut into cubes. Cook in a little water over low heat until soft.
Thoroughly wash and drain the spinach leaves, remove coarse stems. Let the spinach collapse in a little water. Drain and collect the cooking water.
Puree with a hand blender, adding a little cooking water depending on the desired consistency. Mash the potato cubes with a fork and add to the spinach. Now stir the canola oil into the spinach and potato puree.

This baby spinach and peanut porridge is suitable for babies from 6 months of age.
