Instructions:

Sift the flour and stir with the white wine and olive oil to form a smooth, somewhat thick batter. Season lightly with salt. Add the beaten egg whites.

Peel the oranges and divide them into wedges. Remove the white inner skin well, so that nothing of this skin remains on, remove the seeds.

Marinate the orange wedges with orange liqueur for about 1 hour. Just before serving, drain the orange wedges, dip them in French-style batter and bake in the floating fat until golden. Place on kitchen roll to degrease.

Preparation Tip:

This dough should be used immediately, because it spoils easily by standing for a long time.
