For the chocolate nut cake, first beat vanilla sugar, sugar, butter and the yolks of 3 eggs until thick and creamy. Mix milk, chocolate, nuts and rum. Mix flour with baking powder and add as well.

Beat egg whites from 3 egg whites and gently fold into the mixture. Bake the chocolate-nut cake over medium heat. When cooled, cut in half and fill with jam.

Prepare the chocolate glaze according to this recipe and cover the chocolate nut cake with it.
