Instructions:

Soften margarine and chocolate in a water bath. Pour into a mixing bowl. Stir in almonds, candied lemon peel, almond slivers, cinnamon and clove powder. Add lemon juice and egg. Finally, knead the mixture with the powdered sugar. Form into a roll (3 cm in diameter) and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 2 – 3 days and then cut into 1 cm thick slices.

Preparation Tip:

Sprinkle the finished taler with powdered sugar.
