For the chocolate toffee muffins, melt the butter and let cool. Mix the flour with cocoa and baking powder. Beat the eggs with the sugar and Baileys until fluffy.

Stir in the crème fraiche and then the butter. Sift the flour mixture over the top and fold in. Line a muffin tin with paper cups and pour in the batter.

Place a toffee in the center of each and bake at 180 °C for about 25 minutes. Let cool.

Whip 1 cup of whipped cream with 1 pkg. vanilla sugar and a pinch of orange zest and serve.

Preparation Tip:

The chocolate toffee muffins taste delicious even as they are - without whipped cream.
