Instructions:

For the cocoa pockets with butterflies, roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 2 parts widthwise.

Cut 3 squares of the same size from each of the 2 halves, leaving some dough. Mix the curd with cocoa and sugar according to taste. Divide the curd-cocoa mixture among the 6 squares and close them into pockets.

Cut out 6 butterflies from the remaining dough with a cookie cutter. Brush the pastries and butterflies with beaten egg and bake according to package instructions (usually at 200° convection oven for about 15 to 20 minutes).

With sugar writing on the still warm Tascherl make a blob and put a butterfly on each Tascherl.

After cooling, decorate the butterflies with sugar writing. Sprinkle sugar pearls on the cocoa bags with butterflies if desired.
