Instructions:

For the cocoa cookie cake with chocolate sauce, melt the cooking chocolate, milk and butter over a water bath.

Meanwhile, beat the eggs and sugar until foamy.

Let the chocolate-butter mixture cool a bit and then mix it into the eggs. Crumble one package of the cocoa cookies very finely and fold in gradually with the flour and baking powder.

Butter and flour a springform pan (26 cm diameter). Break the second package of cocoa cookies into coarse pieces. Pour the cake mixture into the mold and spread the cookie pieces on top.

Bake in the preheated oven at 180°C convection oven for about 20 to 25 minutes.

For the chocolate sauce, chop the cooking chocolate. Mix the milk with the cocoa powder according to the package instructions, bring to a boil with the cinnamon and sugar. Stir the chopped cooking chocolate into the hot liquid, allow to melt and strain through a sieve.

Let the cake cool after baking, cut it into pieces and pour the chocolate sauce over it.

Serve the cocoa cookie cake with chocolate sauce immediately.
