Wash potatoes, pat dry and cut into slices about 2-3 mm thick. Line a baking tray with baking foil/baking paper, brush with vegetable oil and spread a little salt on it.

Cover the prepared tray with the potato slices and also brush the top of the potato slices with some vegetable oil and lightly salt them.

Bake in the oven at 140 °C convection until the slices are lightly browned and crispy.

The exact baking time depends very much on the potato used and the thickness of the slices. However, about 45 minutes is a good guideline.

In between, you should open the oven briefly so that the moisture can escape and the potato slices should be turned at least once during the baking process.

The crispy potato slices are best served with ketchup and a quick yogurt sauce.

For the yogurt sauce, season the yogurt with a little salt and curry powder.
