Instructions:

For the currant-apple jam, first remove the currant from the stalk and wash well. Peel and core the apples and cut them into rough cubes.

Bring to the boil together with sugar, lemon juice and peel, turn down and simmer for about 30 minutes.

Make a jelly test and fill into clean glasses. If you want a fine currant-apple jam, simply blend well with a hand blender.
