Instructions:

Grease a cake pan with butter. Preheat the oven to 170 °C (hot air).

For the dough, beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Pour in oil in a thin stream and stir in. Add sour cream, then mix in Almdudler Original (be careful, it foams). Sift flour with baking powder and fold into the mixture: Stir only until a smooth dough mixture is formed.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in a hot oven for about 50 minutes. (If the surface of the cake browns too quickly, cover the pan with aluminum foil.

Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then turn it out. Prick several times with a wooden stick and soak with Almdudler Alpine Herb Syrup. Allow to cool completely.

For the glaze, whisk all ingredients until smooth. Coat the cooled cake with it.

Decorate with fresh (or candied) herbs to taste and serve.

Preparation Tip:

If you want to decorate the cake with fresh "greenery", be sure to use unsprayed flowers and herbs.
