Instructions:

For the ginger cookies, beat butter, orange zest and egg until fluffy. Add almonds, powdered sugar, flour and lemon juice and knead into a dough. Let rest in a cool place for at least 3 hours.

Form dough into a roll and cut off 4 mm thick slices. Place on baking sheet. Brush with egg white and spread ginger pieces on top. Bake at 180 °C for approx. 12-15 min.

Preparation Tip:

You can still decorate the ginger cookies with white chocolate icing.
