For the gnocchi spinach casserole, defrost the frozen spinach. Add the onions cut into small pieces. Bring everything to a boil, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste.
Meanwhile, cook the gnocchi in boiling salted water until they come to the surface, then catch them with a skimmer and put them in a small casserole dish.
Then pour the hot spinach on top, the grated cheese on top and bake in a hot oven at 180 degrees convection until the cheese is golden brown.
