Instructions:

Prepare the sand mixture as described. Mix the oil with cocoa powder. In a second bowl, mix about one-third of the mixture with the cocoa-oil mixture. Grease a cake pan with melted butter and sprinkle with sliced almonds. Now start with the light mixture first and fill in alternating light and dark mixture with the pastry card. Bake the Gugelhupf at 180 °C in the preheated oven on the middle shelf for approx. 60 minutes. Take out, turn out and put the mold back on while it is still warm so that the cake stays nice and moist.
