Instructions:

For the Gugelhupf with strawberry-chocolate glaze, brush the Gugelhupform with melted butter and line meticulously with flour.

Sift flour with baking powder into a large bowl and mix with 1 pinch of salt. Beat oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla sugar until fluffy.

Gradually beat in eggnog and flour. Mix in lemon zest. Pour the whole mixture into the prepared pan, smooth it out and bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for about 50 minutes until golden brown. Do a cooking test!

After the baking time, let the Gugelhupf rest in the pan for about 10 minutes, then let it cool completely on the kitchen rack.

In the meantime, clean, wash and dry the strawberries and puree with powdered sugar. Coarsely chop the white chocolate.

Place whipping cream, butter and chocolate in a small saucepan and heat gently, stirring, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the pureed strawberries.

Cover the gugelhupf with the lukewarm glaze and sprinkle the gugelhupf with strawberry chocolate glaze with white chocolate shavings.

Preparation Tip:

The Gugelhupf with chocolate strawberry glaze is still very juicy , fluffy and extremely tasty even after 2 days!
