Total time: 45 min

Ingredients:

Instructions:

Sift wheat flour into a suitable bowl and mix thoroughly with the yeast. Add salt, sugar, butter and milk and mix everything together with an electric mixer with dough hook at the beginning on the lowest, then on the highest speed for about 5 min to form a dough. Knead in the herbs de Provence.

Let the dough stand in a warm place until it doubles in height, then knead it well repeatedly on the highest speed.

Form the dough into rolls about 1 cm thick, cut them into small slices about 1 1/2 cm thick, shape them into balls, place them on a baking sheet and let them stand in a warm place repeatedly until they are about twice as high.

Brush the balls with canned milk, sprinkle with coarse salt and bake in an oven heated to 175-200 °C for about 15 minutes.

Offer the herb balls as a snack with wine or beer.
