Instructions:

For the kiwi banana cake, first prepare the cake base. Separate the eggs, beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff.

Mix the egg yolks, sugar and oil until foamy. Stir in the egg liqueur and mix again briefly. Mix in the spelt flour and carefully fold in the beaten egg whites.

Pour the dough into a greased and floured cake springform pan and bake at approx. 170 °C. Let cool and spread with jam. Prepare the cake jelly with sugar and water according to the instructions.

Allow to cool. Meanwhile, slice the kiwis and bananas. Cut the kiwi slices in half again.

Place the fruit on the cake base smeared with jam and pour the cake jelly over it.

Preparation Tip:

Before pouring jelly over the kiwi banana cake, spread a few spoonfuls of the cake jelly over the fruit.
