For the nettle loaf, wash the nettle, spin dry well and chop very finely. The food processor is best suited for this.

Fry the onion in a little oil and then leave to cool. Cut the pita bread into cubes. Whisk the milk with the egg and the spices. Pour the mixture over the pita bread and mix.

Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Let it sit for a while – 10 to 15 minutes. Heat oil, form loaves from the mixture and fry them out in the oil. Serve with herb curd, potatoes and salad.

Preparation Tip:

The nettle loaf is best served with a yogurt sauce, for example.
