For the nougat dumplings, press two Schogetten pieces together on the back side. Then for the dough, mix together the curd, egg, breadcrumbs and semolina.
Take a tablespoonful of dough, put a Schogetten ball on it and cover it with some dough. Then shape into a dumpling/dumpling with the second tablespoon, making sure the chocolate is completely covered with dough.
Do the same with the other 8 Schogetten balls and let the dumplings steep in hot water for about 10 minutes.
For the crumbs, melt the butter in a pan, add the crumbs, cinnamon and sugar and mix together. Add the finished nougat dumplings and roll in the crumbs.
Preparation Tip:
This portion of nougat dumplings is enough for 2 people as a main course. Instead of Schogetten, for example, Ildefonso or Mozartkugeln are also exceedingly delicious. In principle, you can do this with any variety.
