Instructions:

Heat clarified butter, fry cookies briefly until light brown. After frying, season with bell pepper, salt, paprika and thyme. Wrap cookies with bacon.

Grease the baking dish. Layer mushrooms, tomatoes, meat in alternating layers, seasoning tomatoes and mushrooms lightly. Sprinkle onion and parsley on top, drizzle with white wine and cognac.

Bake: Bake on the first rack in a very hot oven (250 o) for twenty min.

Lightly whip cream, spread evenly over meat just before serving.

Serve with: Mashed or whipped potatoes, pasta or long grain rice, green leaf salad.

Our tip: Use bacon with a fine, smoky note!
