For the potato loaf, cook the potatoes, peel and press through the potato press while still hot. Mix with flour, egg and fat and season with salt and nutmeg.

Cut the sausage into small cubes and mix in. Shape dough on floured surface to about 5 cm long roll and divide into 12 pieces. Form into loaves and fry the potato loaves in hot fat until crispy on both sides and drain.

Preparation Tip:

The potato loaf goes very well with green salad.
