With this punch cake in a glass you can not only joyfully surprise guests, but also have an ideal souvenir.

For the punch cake, grease fireproof glasses (or alternatively, nice mugs). Mix the crumbs with cinnamon and sprinkle the greased glasses with it.

Cut the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the pulp with the back of a knife. Beat the room-warm butter in a food processor together with the sugar and vanilla pulp until very fluffy. Crack the eggs and gradually add them to the mixture. Mix until a nice, fluffy batter has formed.

Sift baking powder and flour and mix well with the hazelnuts, gingerbread spice and cocoa.

Fold this dry mixture nand alternately with the punch into the butter mixture.

Fill the glasses about up to the middle with batter and bake in the oven preheated to 175 degrees Celsius for about 30-35 minutes.

Allow to cool and serve.

Tip: Cook only with high-quality spices – they are the be-all and end-all in a good dish!

Preparation Tip:

This amount of punch cake is enough for about 6 glasses of about 250ml capacity.
