Briefly heat the red wine with sugar and the pulp of a vanilla pod (do not boil -> otherwise the alcohol will evaporate!).
Let cool and add fruit brandy, cloves, cinnamon stick and filleted oranges. Allow the whole to steep for 4-8 weeks.
Then fill through a sieve into decorative bottles and the red wine liqueur is ready.
Preparation Tip:
Super as a Christmas gift! The red wine liqueur tastes very good even without infusion time, if spontaneously a gift is needed.
