Instructions:

Defrost strudel dough according to package directions.

Mix leek, carrots, celery, onions, mushrooms and basil. Peel, squeeze and add garlic and season with salt and pepper.

Roll out dough on floured surface, spread vegetable mixture evenly on top and roll up. Place the strudel on a baking tray covered with parchment paper, brush with egg yolk and bake in the preheated oven at 200 °C for about 25 minutes.

For the sauce, heat clear soup, add whipped cream and cook everything together a little bit. Season with salt and pepper. Fold in kitchen herbs and crush. Cut the studel into pieces and stir through with sauce.

Our tip: As an alternative to fresh herbs, you can also use frozen ones – they also have a fresh taste!
